Data Centres

Power, cooling and containment equipment for data halls — switchgear, UPS systems, chillers and generator sets, usually on a compressed schedule.

Industries

Data-hall equipment — switchgear, UPS systems, chillers and generator sets — is bought on a compressed schedule and must work on day one, because commissioning windows are short and downtime is the whole risk. Factory acceptance testing at the vendor is where that reliability is proven.

PSPP witnesses FAT on power and cooling equipment, inspecting switchgear, UPS, chillers and gensets to IEC/IEEE and the client's specification, and verifying the electrical, functional and documentation records before despatch.

Challenges

Compressed delivery schedules

Short commissioning windows mean a late nonconformity has an outsized impact on go-live.

Electrical FAT and function

Switchgear, UPS and gensets need routine electrical and functional tests witnessed before shipment.

Cooling equipment performance

Chillers and cooling packages are performance-tested to confirm capacity before despatch.

Our Solutions

Electrical FAT witnessing

Witness of switchgear, UPS and generator factory acceptance and routine tests.

Performance test witnessing

Attendance at chiller and cooling-package performance tests.

Progress monitoring

Expediting on compressed-schedule equipment to protect go-live.
