A Controlled Process, From Enquiry to Closure
Every PSPP assignment follows the same documented, ISO 9001-certified workflow — so a result is traceable, defensible and repeatable, whichever inspector delivers it. This is the real sequence behind our third-party inspection, QA/QC, expediting and supervision services.

Three stages, seventeen controlled steps
The workflow a client actually experiences, grouped into three stages. Nothing advances until the previous step is completed and recorded.
- Phase 01
Enquiry & Engagement
Before any inspector mobilises, we confirm we are the right, impartial party for your scope.
- 01Enquiry received — logged and acknowledged
- 02Requirements clarified — scope, location, ITP, standards, schedule
- 03Feasibility & impartiality review — competence and independence confirmed
- 04Quotation submitted against the confirmed scope
- 05Order review — contract accepted and checked against the quotation

- Phase 02
Inspector Selection & Assignment
The right specialist is chosen and vetted — competence and independence verified on record.
- 06Inspector selection — internal or approved network specialist
- 07Competence verification — CV, certifications, independence, confidentiality
- 08Assignment confirmed — formal issue with scope and standards
- 09Pre-inspection coordination — access, safety, documents, schedule

- Phase 03
Execution, Reporting & Closure
Evidence is collected, reviewed internally, and reported — then the record is retained.
- 10Service execution — inspection, expediting, audit or QA/QC
- 11Nonconformity handling — raised and notified immediately
- 12Report preparation — findings against hold and witness points
- 13Internal report review — completeness, accuracy, compliance
- 14Final report submitted within the agreed timeframe
- 15Invoicing against the completed, reported scope
- 16Feedback review — feedback or complaint acted on
- 17Closure & record retention under controlled document control

The control points we work to
Your Inspection & Test Plan defines where the work is checked. We map every assignment to these control points so you know exactly what was verified, and when.
- 01
Hold Point (H)
Work stops at this step until we attend and release it. Nothing proceeds past a hold point without a documented sign-off.
- 02
Witness Point (W)
We attend a specific operation. The vendor may proceed, but the activity is observed and recorded against the code.
- 03
Review Point (R)
A document or record — a procedure, a certificate, an NDT result — is examined against the ITP before the next stage.
- 04
Surveillance (S)
Ongoing monitoring of an activity over time, rather than a single scheduled event — used where fabrication runs continuously.
These marks appear on our inspection reports exactly as they appear on your ITP, so a finding can be traced straight back to the point it was raised.
What you receive
Each assignment produces a defined set of records. They are issued against your purchase order and retained under our controlled document system — not published downloads, but a traceable evidence trail you can hand to any owner, insurer or regulator.
Inspection report
Findings documented against the agreed hold and witness points, the applicable code and your ITP.
Nonconformity report (NCR)
Any deviation raised, notified immediately and tracked through to resolution.
Release note
Issued only when every hold point is cleared — the single document that says your equipment may ship.
ITP review record
Your Inspection & Test Plan reviewed and marked up against the code before inspection begins.
Retained project record
The full, cross-checked evidence pack closed out and kept under controlled document retention.
Why it matters
Independence is built into every step.
PSPP has no stake in your supply contract — we do not manufacture, design or run testing laboratories. That independence, combined with a controlled workflow and internal report review, is what lets your project proceed on verified fact rather than a supplier’s assurance.
- A documented, repeatable 17-step workflow
- Every report reviewed internally before release
