Audit Scope and Methodology

The assessment used on-site observations, management discussions, demonstrations of internal systems and review of selected records. It covered legal authorization, financial reporting, contract management, procurement, material storage, production capability, quality management, occupational health and safety, human resources, regulatory compliance, and information technology.

Key Audit Findings

Manufacturing Capability and Production Control

Established production planning and capacity-monitoring arrangements were observed. An internally developed application supported visibility of orders, machinery allocation and capacity. Equipment maintenance and selected calibration records were reviewed.

Material Traceability and Inventory Management

Digital warehouse controls supported inventory management. Sampled material certificates linked engineering components and internal material references to supporting records.

Quality Management System

The supplier maintained an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system for relevant activities. An improvement opportunity concerned consistent reporting and traceability of coating tests performed by external service providers.

Procurement and Supplier Management

Supplier evaluations and status information were maintained in internal software. More standardized qualification criteria, periodic reassessment and documented checklists were recommended.

Occupational Health, Safety and Competence

Documented arrangements for hazard identification, emergency preparedness, incident management and training were reviewed. Some individual implementation records were outside the available evidence sample.

Audit Results

The overall checklist rating was 97.88%. Nine of eleven assessment areas received 100%; procurement and supplier management received 83.33%, and quality management received 93.33%. No checklist criteria were rated noncompliant in the summarized assessment. The review relied on sampled evidence and did not independently verify every process or record.

Recommended Improvements

  Introduce a standardized supplier qualification and periodic reassessment checklist with documented evaluation criteria.
