Inspection Objectives and Scope
The re-inspection used the supplied assortment list and sticker-position reference to confirm that the garments and export cartons met the applicable requirements. Activities included:
Random selection and opening of 57 export cartons for assortment verification.
Verification of six garments per carton: three men’s sizes (M, L, XL) and three women’s sizes (S, M, L).
Inspection of required “WIND-RESISTANT” stickers and product identification on sampled garments.
Visual review of garment workmanship and appearance.
Review of export carton packaging, protective cutting layers, and carton-number consistency with the packing list.
Inspection Execution
The total order comprised 8,301 women’s jackets and 8,301 men’s jackets. Although the stated required sample size was 315 pieces, the inspection covered 342 garments from 57 cartons. All sampled cartons contained the required mixed-size assortment. The inspection report records no missing or incorrect wind-resistant stickers and no visible workmanship or appearance defects in the inspected samples.
Key Findings
Carton assortment:PASS— all 57 opened cartons matched the prescribed six-piece assortment.
Product labeling:PASS— required wind-resistant stickers were present on all inspected garments.
Workmanship and appearance:PASS— no visible defects were reported in the sampled items.
Packaging: cartons were reported to include top and bottom cutting protection, and carton numbers matched the packing list.
On-site dimensional measurement and barcode testing were not requested for this assignment.
Project Outcome
The final re-inspection received an overall PASS result. The assessment provided documented, sample-based evidence that the inspected assortment, labeling, appearance, and relevant packaging checks met the specified requirements at the time and place of inspection. The result was not a guarantee for every unit in the shipment and did not itself constitute authorization or proof of shipment.
