Services

PSPP provides Quality Assurance and Quality Control support that represents your quality interests at the vendor, from kick-off through manufacture. We set the plan that governs quality, control the hold and witness points through the build, and keep nonconformities moving until they are closed.

What we cover

  • Acting as your QA/QC representative at the vendor, with one accountable point of contact
  • Defining and aligning the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) with your specification before manufacturing starts
  • Setting hold, witness and review points, then controlling them through the build
  • Welding, coating and electrical & instrumentation quality control at the workface
  • Nonconformity (NCR) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) management through to verified closure
  • Quality surveillance and progressive status reporting across several vendors on one project

Where the same project also needs its certificates, traceability and final dossier checked document by document, that work is scoped under Documentation Review & Compliance. The two run together on most projects but are scoped separately, so nothing is reviewed twice and nothing falls between them.

Methodology

Our QA/QC engagements are structured to catch quality gaps early, not at handover:

  • Baseline the applicable codes, client specifications and contractual quality requirements
  • Review the QCP/ITP and confirm hold, witness and review points are correctly defined and agreed with the vendor
  • Control those points through manufacture rather than reconstructing them at the end
  • Raise and track nonconformities to closure with clear evidence at each step
  • Report quality status to you on an agreed cadence, with open nonconformities listed by age and severity
