Oil & Gas
Upstream, midstream and gas processing equipment — wellhead and flow control, separation packages, and the line pipe and fittings that carry the product.

Oil and gas equipment is built to contain hydrocarbons at pressure — often sour or cryogenic — and a defect that survives the vendor's shop becomes a field failure that is expensive and dangerous to correct. Third-party inspection puts an independent surveyor at the point of manufacture, covering wellhead and flow-control equipment, separation and process packages, line pipe, valves and fittings, before anything ships to site.
PSPP inspects upstream, midstream and downstream equipment against the API, ASME and EN/ISO codes written into the purchase order, witnessing the tests that matter and verifying that the manufacturing records trace back to the material actually used.
Challenges
High-pressure, sour and cryogenic service
Equipment for H2S or low-temperature duty depends on material selection, hardness control and NDT coverage that only verification at the shop can confirm.
Multi-jurisdiction code compliance
A single package may be bound by API, ASME VIII, EN/PED and client specifications at once, each with its own documentation and stamp requirements.
Line pipe and welding quality
SAW and seamless line pipe, clad pipe and welded fittings fail at the weld; RT, UT and MPI results have to be witnessed, not just reported.
Supply-chain and schedule risk
Long-lead forgings, valves and rotating equipment drive the project schedule, and a quality hold found late cascades into the commissioning window.
Our Solutions
Vendor and source inspection
Independent surveillance at the fabrication shop, from material receipt through final acceptance, against the project ITP.
Welding and NDT witnessing
Witness of RT/UT/MPI/PT and review of WPS/PQR so weld quality is confirmed at the source.
FAT and performance test witnessing
Attendance at factory acceptance and performance tests for valves, packages and rotating equipment.
Expediting and progress monitoring
Desk and field expediting on long-lead items to protect the delivery schedule.
