Witnessing and verification of factory and site testing — FAT/SAT, functional and performance tests, pressure testing, and NDT supervision — against approved procedures.
PSPP witnesses and verifies factory and site acceptance testing against approved procedures and acceptance criteria. Our engineers attend FAT/SAT, functional and performance tests, pressure and hydrostatic tests, and supervise NDT and material testing — recording objective evidence and escalating deviations promptly.
Our role in a test
PSPP witnesses and verifies testing; it does not perform the test. We operate no testing laboratory and own no test or measuring equipment. The test is run by the vendor or by an accredited laboratory — our role is to confirm that it was run to the approved procedure, that the equipment used was in calibration, and that the recorded result is genuine and traceable to the item it covers.

Methodology
Witnessing is planned against the approved test procedure, not improvised on the test date:
- Review the test procedure, acceptance criteria and applicable code before the test is scheduled
- Verify that the vendor’s test and measuring equipment is in calibration, against current certificates
- Confirm the test set-up, instrumentation and safety conditions match the approved procedure
- Witness the test in full and record measured values against acceptance criteria as they are taken
- Raise a nonconformity immediately where a result falls outside acceptance, and track it to closure
- Issue a witnessed test report with the vendor’s own test records attached as objective evidence
